Economy cards are printed on 14PT card stock, which is the standard weight most business cards use. Premium is 16PT - noticeably thicker and stiffer in the hand, and the difference is obvious when someone holds one. Both are available in matte or gloss.

Gloss gives you sharper colour and photographs better, but you cannot write on it. Matte is softer, resists fingerprints and takes pen ink, which matters if you write appointment times or notes on the back. For most trades and services, matte is the safer choice.

500 economy matte cards are $37.99 and 500 premium gloss are $51.99. A thousand economy cards are $55.99. Ordering more brings the price per card down sharply - 5,000 economy cards work out to about three and a half cents each.

Business cards are printed by our trade partner and typically arrive within three to five business days. If you need something faster for a show or a meeting, contact us before ordering and we will tell you what is realistic.

Standard US business cards are 3.5 x 2 inches, which is what we print. If you are designing your own, set your canvas to 3.5 x 2 inches and keep important text at least an eighth of an inch from the edge so nothing trims off.
