Wedding menu questions

What size are wedding menus?
We print 4 x 9 inches, the standard menu card size. It is tall and narrow, so it sits neatly on a place setting or tucks into a napkin without crowding the table or covering the china.
How many menus do I need?
One per guest is the safe answer and what most couples order. If you are working to a budget, one per two place settings still lets everyone read it - couples share naturally. Order a few spares either way; they get spilled on.
What should go on a wedding menu?
Each course in order, with dish names people can actually read - and note anything that matters for allergies or dietary choices. Add the couple names and the date at the top and it doubles as a keepsake guests take home.
When should I order wedding menus?
Two to three weeks before the wedding, once your caterer has confirmed the final menu. Ordering earlier risks a dish changing after they are printed - this is one of the last stationery items to lock down.
Can the menus match my invitations?
Yes. The designer above uses the same layouts and colour palette as our wedding invitations and save the dates, so the whole set matches without you having to rebuild the design each time. You can also upload your own artwork.
