Seating chart questions
What size seating chart do I need?
It depends on your guest count. Up to about 60 guests reads clearly on 18 x 24 inches. For 60 to 150 guests use 24 x 36, which is the size most weddings order. Above 150, or if you want large decorative lettering, go to 36 x 48.
What is the seating chart printed on?
Rigid foam board - a printed surface over a foam core, so it stands on an easel without curling or flopping the way paper does. It is an indoor product; if your entrance is outdoors and exposed, tell us and we will suggest something weatherproof instead.
Should I list guests alphabetically or by table?
Alphabetically. Guests know their own name, not their table number - an A to Z list lets someone find themselves in seconds, while a by-table layout makes them scan every table until they spot it. Use by-table only if you want the chart to double as a decorative table plan.
Do you supply an easel?
No, the board is supplied ready to display but an easel is not included. Most venues have one, and most couples borrow or hire rather than buy. Ask your venue before ordering a stand you may not need.
How late can I change the seating?
The chart is printed once, so order after your final numbers are in - usually seven to ten days before the wedding. That is late enough to catch the last cancellations and early enough for printing and delivery.
